New Obama plan: Test a job, keep unemployment benefits
The Obama administration is announcing the start of a new strategy to curb nagging unemployment – allowing Americans to keep their benefits while trying out a job.

Cost of Green Products Makes Shoppers See Red
Earth Day has a long way to go before it convinces consumers to put their money where their mouth is and pay more for eco-friendly green products, a new study shows. Though nearly half of people surveyed (46 percent) said they were more inclined to buy a product if it is eco-friendly, the majority (59 percent) said they were unwilling to pay more money for that product of service. Green products may be good at generating lip service, but they’re not so good at opening wallets. http://www.businessnewsdaily.com/2383-cost-green-products.html

Cutting-edge Navy warship being built in Maine
An enormous, expensive and technology-laden warship that some Navy leaders once tried to kill because of its cost is now viewed as an important part of the Obama administration's Asia-Pacific strategy, with advanced capabilities that the Navy's top officer says represent the Navy's future.

Did Los Angeles Times make right call on photos of dead Afghans
Photos released Wednesday by the Los Angeles Times – showing smiling US troops in Afghanistan posing with the remains of suicide bombers – are reigniting a debate about the ethics of publishing such photos during wartime.

Report: Threat from anti-jihadist extremists grows

Sorsha the Dog

“Sorsha the dog”, our dog, passed away on Saturday July 2nd 2011, the day that the Declaration of Independence was written in 1776. She went to sleep peacefully in the grass looking out over the mountains of our remote property and was buried in a shady spot underneath a mighty Fir tree surrounded by many Aspens. She was fourteen years old and a beautiful fluffy Golden Retriever-Chow mix. She traveled the entire North American continent with us, when I was a Travel Nurse.

Our furry child led an incredible life. She has ridden in elevators in five star hotels, she swam on the shores of the Great Lakes; she has slept in a tent with on every mountain in the United States. Sorsha was very protective and loyal. She was gentle but quick to leap into action to protect her home and her family. She was known by many names; My personal favorite, “Misses Sorsha Fluffy Butt”, her Native American name “always in the way dog”, and her four wheeling companion name, “Sorsha the four paw drive doggie.” We loved her dearly and she is much missed. Thank you, God, for her presence in our life. May God grant everyone as special a pet that we were blessed with for fourteen wonderful years.  And always remember, God spelled backwards is: DOG.

On Bravo, Kathy Griffin Mocks Bristol Palin's 'Leno' Chin, Mangles Bachmann Speech

From newsbusters.org
KATHY GRIFFIN: Okay, so, Bristol Palin has this brand new chin, and I swear to god, she looks like Jay Leno. Your very own Jay Leno from Andover. Right, Andover- all right. But it's like she took a picture of Jay Leno, went to the dentist and said, "can I have this?" It's really- I-I, I'm just saying-it's, like, out there. But the comedy comes in, in her statement. So, may I read you her statement, directly? Okay. I got my little notes - okay. So, uh, Bristol Palin said, "I had corrective jaw surgery." Let's just-let's just take a minute. Not a chin implant, corrective jaw surgery. "Yes, it improved the way I look, but the surgery was necessary for medical reasons." No, that-that's true. Like, when I had my first face lift, it was 'cause I was fighting scurvy. And when I had my eye job, it was 'cause I had rickets. And for - "it was for medical reasons, so my jaw and teeth could properly realign."Who did she blow last night

I am sooo, sooo freakin pissed about this stupid bitch. I had to have "reconstructive jaw surgery" for medical reasons. All my siblings and I, except for one had "buck teeth" (two of them still do). That condition, (and I am putting my RN with a BSN hat on), deteriorates the gum line due to mis-alignment of the teeth. I had two gum operations and was told that without "reconstruction" I would loose most of my teeth and if I had an infection in my gums it could affect my heart. It took two years and I had to have my jaw wired shut for six months to get the job done. It started in 1992, with the surgeons cracking open my upper jaw. My husband had to turn a key to a lock that was surgically implanted in my upper jaw that stretched my jaw to the point that there was a one to two inch space between my two front teeth, every night. The pain was bad and constant. I was going to Nursing school for my BSN during the whole ordeal. So screw you, you sick crazy commie bitch, Kathy Griffin, just shut the hell up. You are not funny and need to go.

Isolated measles outbreak has Indiana officials on alert

FYI, just in case you live in Indiana, have relatives there, or are planning to visit there.

From Reuters.com
State Health Commissioner Dr. Gregory Larkin said his department had dispatched workers to seven nearby counties in northern Indiana to identify any additional cases of the highly contagious disease and to prevent its spread.

The workers have also been given additional doses of the measles vaccine. Individuals who have been exposed to an infected person can obtain the vaccine at no cost, according to a statement released by Larkin's office.

The article does not go into why there have been these outbreaks. Can you say Illegal Aliens from across the globe and third world hell holes? Being an RN I know that this disease can be more serious for adults than children. Especially pregnant women and women of child bearing age. That is why we wiped it out. And I know there is a movement to not have children vaccinated and I know the pros and cons of that movement, but that will be for a different article. When I was growing up, our parents would just let us get all of these childhood diseases so we would build up our own immunity.

The Uncooperativebloggers/ Radio show's State of the Union Address

The State of the Union sucks. There ya go people. No matter what our President/Caesar and our elected cockroaches did, said, or promised tonight, do not believe it. The Constitution is the solution!!! Did ya hear that word tonight? NOOOOOOOO. WhyYYYYY! And no, we did not watch it tonight. Brian was sick all day, but we did record it. Oh, and by the way, it is Unconstitutional to televise the State of the Union Address. It was only meant to be given to the congress and the senate. Not to "we the people". We will review this on our radio show this Thursday 1/27/11 @7pmest, on uncooperativeradio.com.

A Plan To Take Back The Republic

For those who do not listen to my radio show, I spent 10 years trying to figure out how to get back to the Constitutional Republic given to us by those who created the Constitution, with out bloodshed and this is what I came up with:

We need to take back our local and State governments with true Constitutional Conservatives. I am talking from the school boards, town councils to the Governor of the State. We the people have to get off our backsides and find candidates, convince them to run and help them get elected. We the people have been asleep behind the wheel for too long. Once we achieve this the State re-asserts their Constitutional Sovereignty and tells the federal government we will no longer follow your unconstitutional mandates, give you unconstitutional money, take money from you and we do not care what the courts think. We, the States, created you to serve our needs and not the other way around. There are no "implied powers" in the Constitution. The states purge their courts of those who have served in bad behavior and once enough states are taken back we hold an article 5 convention and make the Constitution CRYSTAL CLEAR, including stating the courts will use natural law as found in Emerich de Vatell's Law of Nations and place limitations on the courts. We then purge the Federal courts of those who have served in bad behavior and replace them with people who understand the role of the courts is to look at the original intent of thee legislators who created the law and apply it to the person or situation in front of them, not re-interpret the law. Now we get rid of all the unconstitutional laws and bureaucracy that were created and phase out all government entitlement programs. anything we want to keep we have to amend the Constitution to to keep them. Like we need the air force, but this requires an amendment. This puts the general government back into it's Constitutional box.

Speaking of the military, no standing army, we have the militia, we the people and the organized militia, the National Guard and the navy, with Marines, Seals and planes. I would pull ALL our military back home and close all over seas bases. Obviously the Navy would still patrol. Use the National Guard to secure our borders and build the dang fence with gun turrets, unmanned drones, and seismic sensors. the Airforce would have bases here in the USA to protect us.

Now we have our liberty back without a bloody revolution. Sending people to Washington will only slow the train wreck down, they will not and cannot dismantle the federal government from within, but the states have the power.

Judge approves '1 of most oppressive measures in history'

We just need to stop going to the courts people. It is up to our individual states to decide what is best for "we the people", not the Federal government.

From World Net Daily:
federal judge has concluded Congress can demand that Americans buy government-approved health insurance in the first ruling of its kind on Obamacare, but he also has opened a door for people to challenge the plan in court.

The ruling means the Supreme Court eventually could have the opportunity to decide whether Obamacare is constitutional and to redefine the scope of the Commerce Clause, which Washington now interprets as allowing such government requirements.

Since the Roosevelt administration, controversial Supreme Court interpretations of the clause have been used to broadly expand the powers of the federal government.

AARP'S Fall from Grace

This was sent to Brian as an e-mail from the Brooks Report.
This letter was sent to Mr. Rand who is the Executive Director of AARP.

Dear Mr. Rand,

Recently you sent us a letter encouraging us to renew our lapsed membership in AARP by the requested date. I know it is not what you were looking for, but this is the most honest response I can give you. Our gap in coverage is merely a microscopic symptom of the real problem, a deepening lack of faith.

While we have proudly maintained our membership for several years and have long admired the AARP goals and principles, regrettably, we can no longer endorse it's abdication of our values. Your letter specifically stated that we can count on AARP to speak up for our rights, yet the voice we hear is not ours. Your offer of being kept up to date on important issues through DIVIDED WE FAIL presents neither an impartial view nor the one we have come to embrace. We do believe that when two parties agree all the time on everything presented to them, one is probably not necessary. But, when the opinions and long term goals are diametrically opposed, the divorce is imminent. This is the philosophy which spawned our 200 years of government.

Once upon a time, we looked forward to being part of the senior demographic. We also looked to AARP to provide certain benefits and give our voice a power we could not possibly hope to achieve on our own. AARP gave us a sense of belonging which we no longer enjoy. The Socialist politics practiced by the Obama administration and empowered by AARP serves only to raise the blood pressure my medical insurance strives to contain. Clearly a conflict of interest there!

We do not understand the AARP posture, feel greatly betrayed by the guiding forces that we expected to map out our senior years and leave your ranks with a great sense of regret. We mitigate that disappointment with the relief of knowing that we are not contributing to the problem anymore by renewing our membership. There are numerous other organizations which offer discounts without threatening our way of life or offending our sensibilities.

This Presidential Administration scares the living daylights out of us. Not just for ourselves, but for our proud and bloodstained heritage. But even more importantly for our children and grandchildren. Washington has rendered Soylent Green a prophetic cautionary tale rather than a nonfiction scare tactic. I have never in my life endorsed any militant or radical groups, yet now I find myself listening to them. I don't have to agree with them to appreciate the fear which birthed their existence. Their borderline insanity presents little more than a balance to the voice of the Socialist mindset in power. Perhaps I became American by a great stroke of luck in some cosmic uterine lottery, but in my adulthood I CHOOSE to embrace it and nurture the freedoms it represents as well as the responsibilities it requires.

Your website generously offers us the opportunity to receive all communication in Spanish. ARE YOU KIDDING??? Someone has broken into our 'house', invaded our home without our invitation or consent. The President has insisted we keep the perpetrator in comfort and learn the perp language so we can communicate our reluctant welcome to them.

I DON'T choose to welcome them.

I DON'T choose to support them.

I DON'T choose to educate them.

I DON'T choose to medicate them, pay for their food or clothing.

American home invaders get arrested.

Please explain to me why foreign lawbreakers can enjoy privileges on American soil that Americans do not get?

Why do some immigrants have to play the game to be welcomed and others only have to break & enter to be welcomed?

We travel for a living. Walt hauls horses all over this great country, averaging over 10,000 miles a month when he is out there. He meets more people than a politician on caffeine overdose. Of all the many good folks he enjoyed on this last 10,000 miles, this trip yielded only ONE supporter of the current administration. One of us is out of touch with mainstream America . Since our poll is conducted without funding, I have more faith in it than one which is power driven.

We have decided to forward this to everyone on our mailing list, and will encourage them to do the same. With several hundred in my address book, I have every faith that the eventual exponential factor will make a credible statement to you.

I am disappointed.

I am scared.

I am MAD, and I'm NOT gonna take it anymore!

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen Thinks Mothers Should Be Forced to Breastfeed

Sans my opinion that women should be the "gatekeepers" of birth and the "rock" of the family unit; I am so tired of the "elite" telling us what to do. Screw you Gisele, stop telling us "so called little people" how to live
From Fox News:
Gisele Bundchen is famous for being the world’s highest paid supermodel, marrying NFL superstar Tom Brady, and now trying her hand at being an expert on breast-feeding.

The 5-foot-11 Brazilian model is causing quite a stir after an interview with Harper’s Bazaar where she told the British magazine that all women should be forced to breast-feed.

"I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breast-feed their babies for six months," said Bundchen, 30.She went on to criticize American women who do not breast-feed their babies.

"Some people here [in the U.S.] think they don't have to breast-feed, and I think 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'" she said.

Bundchen may think since she is a United Nations earth mother, she has the authority of “motherly law,” even though she only breast-fed her son, Benjamin, for three weeks. She went on to criticize American women who do not breast-feed their babies.

You have got to be freaking KIDDING ME! What the hell is a United Nations earth mother and why does any organization need one? It is one thing to advocate for education of mothers and the benefits of breast feeding and quite another to advocate that if mothers around the world did not do this they could be thrown in jail and their children taken away from them Freaks.

Obamacare's control plan? 'Behavior modification'

I am not even going to opine on this article. I just want the story to get out. Please, fax, blog and tell everyone you know about this; yet another executive order that our President has signed to destroy our way of life. Shout this article from the roof tops. Where is Thomas Paine when we need him?
President Obama has signed an executive order specifying the treatment for all Americans, to be prescribed by government bureaucrats.Obama's order appoints members to a new government committee set up by the Democrats' new health law that will evaluate, make recommendations about and establish rules for everything from how people exercise to whether they smoke to the food they eat and the medicines they use. And it specifically requires the committee list the priorities for "lifestyle behavior modification" that the government will pursue.

Please, please read the entire article and pass it on. This must, and I mean, must be brought to the light of day!

The MMR Vaccine vs Autism

By Susan Frances Bonner, author of Opening A Registered Nurses Eyes; A life Altering Journey Across North America

This topic has been an ongoing controversy since 1998, when a paper by Andrew Wakefield, was published by “The Lancent”.

“Twelve children with developmental disorders referred to the Royal Free Hospital in London. The paper described a collection of bowel symptoms said to be evidence of a possible novel syndrome that Wakefield would later call autistic enterocolitis, and recommended further study into the possible link between the condition and environmental triggers, such as the MMR vaccine.”(1)

Since then, there has been a fierce battle between the medical community, vaccine providers, parents and governments all across the globe. The data on this matter is so vast and so involved that the average parent cannot make an informed decision on whether to subject their child to this vaccine or not. And I, unfortunately, may not help as well. But let’s try and muddle through, starting with the birth and reasons for this vaccine.

The first measles vaccine was licensed for use in the U.S. in 1963. Today, measles vaccine is generally given in combination with mumps and rubella vaccines (MMR) or MMR combined with varicella (MMRV).

Originally, just one dose of MMR vaccine was recommended, and about 90-95% of children were protected. In 1989, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices changed the recommendation to two doses so that almost all children (99.7%) would be protected.(2)

Some of the complications of measles include; infections of the middle ear, pneumonia, croup, diarrhea, and Measles encephalitis (an infection of the brain) which occurs in 1 per 1,000 cases of natural measles, frequently resulting in permanent brain damage in the survivors.(2) You can see how serious this condition can be.

Since I was born just before 1963, I had to get my vaccine when I was a toddler. The recommendation for administering the vaccine is all infants 12 years old and older, and Autism is not diagnosed until after age two. An interesting time line if you are looking for a link between the MMR vaccine and Autism.

Now, I am not advocating that parents refrain from having their children vaccinated. I am just informing and letting you decide.
The prevailing medical thought is that the risks out way the side effects of any vaccine including the MMR vaccine. Measles used to be a serious problem in this country with most people getting the disease by the time they were 20 yrs of age. Now, due to the vaccine, the incident of measles in the United States is virtually zero. Measles is imported from other countries however. Begging the question, do we continue to be vigilant and keep requiring the vaccine or not?

Unfortunately, study after study, from many countries and agencies conflict in their conclusions and contradict each other. But if I had to make this decision for my child, I would muddle through them. I also suggest visiting the Autism support sites. Knowledge is power, and with a decision as important as whether to vaccinate your child or not requires a lot of knowledge.

Co-Author of The Manchurian President: Interview On the Uncooperative Radio 05/16/10

From The Uncooperative Radio Show:

Interview with the co-author of the book; The Manchurian President. The book uncovers a far-leftist, anti-American nexus that has been instrumental in not only helping build Obama's political career but in securing his presidency. Klein, with Brenda J. Elliott details with shocking precision how this nexus continues to influence Obama and the White House and is involved in drafting policy aimed at reshaping our country.

This was revealing and frightening interview. Check it out.

Health-care mandates could be 'null and void'

This article is extremely important--and long. But please muddle through it. This bill may be the most important issue of our life time. It may mean the resurrection of our Constitution. Or should I say the unearthing of it, because it is not quite dead yet, just buried.
From World Net Daily:
A group of Americans who believe the federal government overstepped its constitutional bounds in passing the recent health-care legislation is rallying allies to a bold and controversial initiative: state nullification of the federal law.

"Now that health-care reform has been signed into law, the question people ask most is, 'What do we do about it?'" said Michael Boldin, founder of the Tenth Amendment Center, in a statement. "The status-quo response includes lobbying Congress, marching on D.C., 'voting the bums out,' suing in federal court and more. But the last 100 years have proven that none of these really work, and government continues to grow year in and year out."

Instead, the Center is reaching back into the history books to suggest states take up "nullification," a controversial measure that would essentially involve states saying to the federal government, "Not in our borders, you don't. That law has no effect here."

Like I said, please read the entire article, we must take our States back and our State sovereignty and kick the Feds out of our lives.

ABC Vets Insist Obama Not on Left, Blocking ObamaCare Reminds Roberts of ‘First Step Toward the Civil War’

From NewsBusters.org:
On ABC’s This Week, when retired ABC newsman Sam Donaldson recommended that President Barack Obama nominate, to replace Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, someone who “is going to stand up for the principles – on the left, if you will – that he believes in,” Cokie Roberts jumped in: “I’m not so sure he is so far to the left.” Donaldson agreed: “Well, I’m not sure either.”

Minutes later, Roberts contended the efforts of state attorneys general, to get a federal court to rule unconstitutional ObamaCare’s requirement every citizen get health insurance, reminded her of the “nullification” which led to the Civil War:

What the hell are these people talking about? And they get paid for this? I'll tell you, I have read much more insightful stuff on Gather and heard more intelligent conversation on BlogTalk Radio, than what I get from the Lame Stream Media.

Bullock to side with Pelosi/Reid/Obama over Montanans

This was sent to me via e-mail:
We received this email at 8:45 this morning.
Jason Priest
Executive Director
Montana Growth Network

March 25, 2010

Thanks for expressing your concerns about the constitutionality of the recent health care legislation.

We have reviewed the legal arguments that are being used to challenge the legislation, and have concluded that it is highly unlikely it will be found unconstitutional. This is a conclusion that is shared by the vast majority of legal scholars, liberal and conservative, who have reviewed the issues. As a result, Montana will not be joining the lawsuit that several state Attorneys General have brought.

People can certainly disagree over whether the health care legislation is good policy. That does not mean, however, that the State of Montana should spend taxpayer money to file a lawsuit that we do not believe has legal merit. Like the Republican and Democratic Montana Attorneys General who served before me, I try hard to keep my personal political beliefs out of legal decisions.

My staff and I are busy and working hard to protect the interests of Montanans. The courts will have the opportunity to judge the merits of the challenges to the health care legislation without the involvement of Montana. If we are correct and the courts reject the challenges, we will have saved valuable Montana taxpayer resources. In the unlikely event that the Courts declare the legislation unconstitutional, their decision will apply to all Americans - including all Montanans - even though we weren't a party to the lawsuit.

Sincerely,
STEVE BULLOCK
Attorney General

This is what my elected cockroach feels about this matter. My husband says he can see where he is coming from, I think he is a coward.

Dying Patient Was Refused A Glass Of Water

Something to look forward to here in America...

From Sky News:
A dying patient had to ring a hospital switchboard on his mobile to ask for a glass of water, after nurses ignored his pleas.

Officials from the South London NHS Trust have apologised to the family of Derek Sauter, who later died in hospital of pneumonia.

The 60-year-old did not receive a "proper and professional standard of care" when he was admitted with a chest infection in June 2008.

A formal investigation is being conducted into his death, after it was found his oxygen levels went unchecked for 11 hours and were 35% lower than recommended.

Ruth Sauter, the patient's daughter, said she was disgusted by the treatment her father had received.

She told The Daily Mail: "His condition was not life threatening, and nurses had specific instructions to keep close tabs on him.

"'But their appalling lack of care, and cruel behaviour killed my father...It's so much worse knowing that he died alone, thirsty and scared on that ward."

After being admitted in the morning, he was given antibiotics and oxygen, but was later forced to ring his wife to tell her that he was not allowed any more water as he had earlier knocked over a cup.

After ringing the switchboard, a doctor was called to the ward, only for a nurse to tell him that the patient was "overreacting".
This is what comes from socialized medicine and we are marching towards it. The Fed. Govt. is going to be telling doctors what they can and cannot do as to treatments and in this health care bill there is no appeal! Even Canada allows an appeal of the Government's medical panel decisions.

We can only hope the supreme court does the right thing and finds the Bill unconstitutional. If you people want government run health care then amend the Constitution otherwise it is unconstitutional!
