Among his many serious failings, the one that does the most political damage to George W. Bush is his unrelenting, illogical, and treasonous support of illegal aliens from Mexico.
Despite the fact that the nation is at war and that illegal aliens present huge risks to homeland security besides costing taxpayers billions, President Bush is unable to see common sense on this issue.
Rather, illegal aliens are constantly defended as goodhearted, hardworking folks who come to America because they share our values, and come in search of a better life.
A favorite Bush cliche is that “Family values do not stop at the Rio Grande,” a corny way of pretending that third-world criminal values are no different than the average Joe Shmo, borned and raised in the Bronx, paid taxes for 40 years, blah,blah, blah.
It has even been suggested that invaders are a “blessing” to America.
In truth, however, invaders do not come to the U.S. to work or because they share common values.
Rather, they come to steal public services—education, health care , food. and the like–goods and services to which they are not entitled, and which cost U.S. taxpayers hundreds of of billions of dollars each year.
As to common values, most Americans are not criminals—all illegal aliens are.
Most Americans speak English—most illegal aliens refuse to learn the American language, for fear of losing a part of their heritage.
Interesting concept, that! Just what heritage are you referring to, Pincho?
The corrupt, lawless, elitists who keep Mexico mired locked into the misery of a third-world cesspool?
The Mexican economy that cannot or will not feed or house its citizens?
The Mexican educational system that cannot educate most Mexican citizens beyond the third or forth grade, and which results in overwhelming rates of illiteracy and citizens without basic skills needed for employment?
The Mexican legal system that actively promotes the smuggling of billions of dollars in drugs into America?
In addition, many illegal aliens are delusional enough to believe that parts of the U.S. still belong to Mexico. They come not to share in the “American Dream,” but to reclaim property that they mistakenly believe to be part of Mexico.
As everyone knows, the Mexican government bitterly opposes efforts to stem the flow of illegal aliens from Mexico into America. That government has even threatened to take the United States to the UN because we Americans have plans to build a fence at the border.
A fence that would be built by Americans on American soil!
However, when it comes to illegal aliens going into Mexico from countries south of its border, the Mexican government has absolutely zero tolerance. No driver’s licenses, in-state tuition, or any of the other nonsense that American politicians foolishly bestow on Mexicans here illegally.
Fact is, illegal aliens in Mexico are regarded as felons by the government, treated accordingly, and are deported as quickly as possible. America officials should do the same to the millions of aliens here illegally.
To claim that America is somehow “blessed” to have a third-world neighbor that dumps 20 million criminals on the backs of U.S. taxpayers is outrageous, irresponsible, and foolish
No other nation on earth would tolerate a “neighbor” like Mexico—and neither should America!
