declared to this Chamber that “the Constitution makes us not rivals
for power but partners for progress…It is my task,” he said, “to
report the State of the Union – to improve it is the task of us

Scientists have discovered neurons in
mice that fire in response to gentle, stroking touch. The neurons,
described in the Jan. 31 issue of the journal Nature, may explain why
animals, from rats to cats to humans, enjoy grooming each other and
being stroked.
Influence of Illegal Alien interest
groups prohibits Federal ICE agents from enforcing law
Last Tuesday, Chris Crane, president of
one of the local chapters within the union that represents 7,600 ICE
border agents (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) told a House
Judiciary Committee that the political influence of "illegal
alien" interest groups prohibits agents from properly enforcing
the law.
Administration's new climate reports
next ice age has now been delayed indefinitely
A federal advisory committee appointed
by the Obama administration to produce a report on climate change
says that if Earth’s climate were still “primarily controlled by
natural factors”—rather than by man-made global warming—then
the next ice age would occur within the next 1,500 years.
