Timothy A. Kerlin Obituary


Timothy’s life began April 24, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio. Timothy died Saturday, December 21, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St Joseph. He spent his childhood growing up in Ohio, graduating high school in Sylvania, OH. After high school Timothy proudly served his country in the United States Navy for eight years. After the service, a job opportunity at Cook Nuclear Plant brought him to Southwest Michigan. Outside of work, Timothy enjoyed shooting darts and listening to blog talk radio, and he was the Host of Halls of Valhalla Radio. He was a member of American Legion Post 225.

Timothy’s family includes his wife, Karen (Twitchell) Kerlin; five children, Cecily, Stephanie, Timothy a. III, Quinn, and Margrethe; two step sons, Travis and Jamie Adams; nine grandchildren; his mom Anna Kerlin, and four siblings, Mark Aaron, Susan, Rebecca, and Rachael. His dad, Stephen; his uncle, Timothy, and a nephew Bruce Simon preceded him in death.
Timothy’s family will celebrate his life with a service in Toledo, Ohio on Saturday, December 28th, from 1 pm to 6 pm, at Advent Lutheran Church, McCord and Sylvania Ave., Sylvania, Ohio.

There will be a gathering for his Michigan family and friends in Watervliet, MI on January 11th, at the Fairfield Inn from 3 pm to 9 pm.
