Spokane police say a grandmother held a
burglar at gunpoint at her home until authorities arrived.

A 24-year-old Navy veteran is in
intensive care after being shot by city police Thursday night. His
family tells WJZ that he was testing out a shotgun after being the
victim of a home invasion.

sermon in Egypt, where the imam swears to Allah several times that
the flag of Islam will be raised above the White House of America,
recently appeared on the Arabic Internet. According to the imam
preaching, all Muslims need do is be patient and continue working
towards this goal.
Bangladesh government target Atheist

Authorities in the world’s
third-largest Muslim country arrested three bloggers Tuesday,
accusing them of using the Internet to “defame” Islam and its
prophet. Critics said the move pandered to Islamists who have been
demanding a crackdown of online speech.
