Poll: Majority
of Americans Have a Favorable Opinion of the NRA
Fifty-four percent of Americans said
they have a favorable opinion of the NRA, while 38 percent have an
unfavorable opinion, according to a USA Today/Gallup Poll conducted
Dec. 19-22.
China requiring people to visit their
aged parents
Visit your parents. That's an order.
So says China, whose national
legislature on Friday amended its law on the elderly to require that
adult children visit their aged parents "often" — or risk
being sued by them.
The Tea Party has had an up-and-down
political ride since the movement helped Republicans take control of
the House in 2010, but those elected in the midterm elections still
appear to wield considerable power in the fiscal
negotiations.
